Just wanted to say hi from a newbie - I've got a couple of old chevys, but not any AD -(right now). I've had a couple of '55 1st series and might buy one I sold a few years ago back, but I kinda like being married for now, so it'll have to wait. Anyways, lookin' forward to checkin' in and chattin' a little -

Welcome Dan. I had a 55 1st panel that I'd love to get back. It was a sweet truck.

Welcome Dan42, I had a chance at a 55 1st panel. Like you said, I like being married. I had to sell a '40 willys coupe complete for a $500.00 house payment once. Man that hurt.

It's gonna take me a little to figure the picture thing over here out - I'm on 67-72chevytrucks and it's just a little different to post pix, but I'll get 'em soon - thanks for the warm welcome. Looks like this is a really nice forum. Heck, Any forum that like the old chevrolet pickups is a good forum, in my book. smile

Welcome to Stovebolt.com, Dan. I'm moving your post to "The Stovebolt Dispatch". It's a new area we just opened up for introductions and announcements.

Good luck on finding another AD.

Dan,

Yes, welcome to the site! When you are ready for those pictures, you can let us do all the work. Submit your information and pictures for the Gallery and then they'll be seen by more folks (not everyone comes to the forums) but the Gallery page is one of the top 10 hit pages on the site.

And if you have a Webshots account or something like that, include that in your write-up. We'll add your Gallery page and photo page to your signature line, so folks can always check on your truck and your progress.
