Need a big favor from someone with an original 47-50 1/2 ton under bed spare tire carrier. Could you measure the length of the threaded portion of the J-bolt that holds up the rear of the carrier. The J-bolt was broken off at the threads when I found the carrier in a junk yard a few weeks ago and I'd like to make a new one.

I have a J bolt from a 50. The overall length is 9 inches and the threaded portion is 3 1/4.
