I have a rolling chassis from a 1950 3100 project. The Steering column and gear are gone already, and the running board mounts have been cut off. It has a complete torque tube rear. I am willing to part it out or let it go complete. PM me for details, Thanks.

I'm tinkering with an idea to build a modernized version of a doodlebug tractor. That frame might just be the last piece of the puzzle, since I've got the rest of the bits and pieces stockpiled already- - - -a Mercruiser 4 cylinder engine, a Turbo 350 automatic trans, a crash box 4 speed, and a 2 speed vacuum shift rear axle.

Jerry, if you can live without the rear crossmember it can be yours. I promised the crossmember to another "BOLTER".

The rear crossmember is spoken for.

No problem- - - -I will be bobbing the frame off and eliminating the rear springs anyway. Doodlebug tractors are as short-coupled as possible- - - - virtually no driveshaft, and minimal if any suspension. The front axle mounts on a center pivot in a home-brewed crossmember.

So your just wanting the bare frame? If so the rest of the suspension could still be available for parts for other Bolters. Let me know .

Sounds good- - - -I've got multiple bits and pieces of suspension, springs, steering components, etc. If someone closer to you needs a complete frame, I'll bow out- - - -got a 51 GMC long bed frame I had forgotten about decorating the barn lot!
