Last week we restarted our local Gabfest at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, Wisconsin. The weather was great, and the turnout was good, with many fine examples of Chevrolet and GMC trucks in attendance. I am hoping to start a local (Great Lakes Region) Facebook page in the hopefully very near future, where I can post photos and other information that applies to this region. I will make another posting when it is ready.
Once again thanks to everyone who attended, and hope to see you again next year!

Randy, how about posting the pictures here? And what's going on in the region here? Not everyone can (or wants to) get into Facebook.
Hope the others who attended can add their pictures here, also.

Well, that was quick. Randy sent a few pix already.
What a good looking crowd!
I'll see if Randy (or someone) can identify all the folks in the two group shots and I can do the "mouse over" like I have done with others in the past. It helps a lot when we recognized screen names. Always fun.

I am afraid I cannot identify everyone in the photos. The group is about 50% members of Stovebolt.com, and the rest are "independent Bolters" from around the area.I am trying to spread the word about the website whenever I can (the handout flyers come in handy).
We are already starting to plan for next years' gathering, and hope to have a date in the next few weeks.
I did get a few more photos, and I will post then soon.
The event was great. It was my trucks first real outing. Talked to some nice people. Can't remember the gentlemen's name, far left in group picture, was a wealth of information on 1st series as he has one too.
Please keep the information on next year coming on Stovebolt. I totally agree with Peggy not everyone wants to be on Facebook.

1955 ... that's great to hear you made it with your truck! Are you in the photo? That group shot is a great one. Maybe it's time to "retire" Andre in the Welcome to Great Lakes Bolter description spot and add this good-looking group.
Anyone else get images to share???? If you can't get them to post in the forums here, send them to me (editor@stovebolt.com) and I can post them for you.
Also enjoy a HOT WASH. John still does a Friday Hot Wash with his boss. Can't have much of a "staff meeting" since there is not staff. hehe
