Would like to welcome and thank Fibonachu for being willing to moderate this forum. Rusty Rod has been relieved to tinker away in California with those nuts ... and bolts, of course.  Jason volunteered just recently and he is certainly qualified. I believe he is hoping to see more gatherings in this area of Bolt Country (easy way to include Canada  ). He can give some of those details, too. As you can see from his signature line, he's got a 1958 Longbed that he's working on. Gonna let him tell you more about that, as he wishes. As the moderator, he'll be helping move, direct, encourage some of the more social aspects of Stovebolt; plus guide and direct folks who start out here but need to move into the virtual garage area (technical stuff) or Parking Lot (selected topics). He's been all over the place here, getting a good idea of what's where. Welcome Jason, and get ready ....

Thank you for the kind words Peggy. I am looking forward to getting more involved around here.
The last couple years have been tough on most everyone, but I am hoping to try and bring people together a bit more. I have a few ideas for a couple virtual and real life things we could do. If anyone has ideas for things they would like to do as a group, hit me up and let's see what we can make happen.
I wanted a 58/59 Chevy starting in the mid 90s when my dad brought one home to build with my brother. It took me over 25 years, but I finally found my very own long bed, fleetside, four-eyed friend. Not a lot got done on him since then, but I have some parts money squirreled away and almost all of my emergency projects are wrapped up. With any (good) luck I will have something to show for it this year.

Welcome Jason! Glad you are on-board. You may have a bit of a slow start, what with everyone still in kind of a hibernation mode.  Will be interested to see what may be coming up this year for the Rocky Mountain Bolters region. Have a few long ago ties to some of the areas (born in Idaho and spent several years stationed in Denver and Colorado Springs areas while in the Army). Been wanting to get back to that part of the country to get a bit of a mountain refresh. Anywho, glad you joined up and look forward to future conversations.  Dan
