I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

WELL, I just heard from Alvin, the transmission in his '04 Chevy gave it up on the way to Maggie Valley. He managed to make it back to the house with the truck pulling his '37. He's going to swap out trucks and WILL be in Townsend later today.

The Breakfast Club is getting smaller.. ohwell

Tim looks great. The '37 looks great. The set up with the '37 looked great.

So, Craig, are you saying that Alvin was still able to get the '04 Chevy back to the house on its own steam? Wondered if he had to get the whole rig (both trucks together) towed. Or was the '04 just clunky on the ride back home. headscratch

Everything WAS looking good. Tim and I was sitting at Chic-fil-A at 6;20 for biscuits..... but half way up the mountain the transmission start acting up. Luckily I got it back to my house. Borrowed son in laws pickup and now in Tennessee. I just left truck, trailer and 37 still hooked up in my yard. We still made it to Townsend by lunch time. Met TuT,Linda, papa-joe and Eli for lunch and chillin for a little and recessing things. Just thankful Tim and I was able to get back to my house and regroup. All is well.

Took Tim to the world famous Beacon Drive-in today for a "chilly cheese a-plenty and Beacon's sweet tea.

Tim will fly out tomorrow heading to Missouri to spend time with Don. We've enjoyed it.

Yes JW, Vicki and I did the Philly Cheese steak and the mushroom side.
We did not take any back to the hotel and I think that is her favorite bar/restaurant!
