2013 - The Ninth Annual Stovebolt Reunion in Kansas City (MO)
September 6th, 7th and 8th, 2013

Here we go again with a place holder. This will mostly be a real wrap up since these posts for 2013 are still in this forum. I'll link back to some of the key ones. Here's the last of them ... if you want to see where it "ends up." They are all locked -- a whole page and a half, with good title to navigate the event.

Here are the Bolt Bucket pictures. [s160.photobucket.com] There are more images in the Forum posts but those were the days of "link to images" ... so as I work thru there, I'll see if I can correct some that may be broken. Better yet: add them to the page!! computer_punch

-.-.-.-.- -.-.-.-.- -.-.-.-.- -.-.-.-.-

After having experienced some bad weather of late, we had a link directly to Riverside MO weather. wink

John drove the the 1972 9500 Road Tractor (Gort) and has a good series of images (I'll get to this) starting with getting ready at the Farm to arriving at Mongo's in Kansas City. He's got some Bolters with him, and gathers a few along the way. If this works out (doing a video of it), it *may* be good.

Mongo proposed a Saturday Morning Shop Off for the gals. We'll need to hear from them about that. thinking

I see in the images there in the Bucket and more on our hard drive that we are signing a truck again, and a hood. Maybe that'll be 'spained in the KC 2013 section.

For now ... here's the flyer for the Reunion. From that image, John designed "Social Networking ... with a Wrench" slogan. Quite appropo as we did a LOT of stuff on-line this year.

Anyone who wants to post comments, remembrances, or photos from 2013, please do. Or even add to earlier years ... these years already set up. Maybe it's easier to remember since it was less than 10 years ago. Plus, the link to the start and finish of it is available to jog your brain. laalaa

Cleaning out those threads mentioned above. Deleted the broken links. I got a nice addition that's worth adding already. Here's where it came from in our forum. In there are some kudos to Craig for his work as well as some shout outs for some of the images.

Craig "Revoh" Hover is a blogger who does stories on various car and truck events. He did a nice job on his story, [hovermotorco.com] "From brawn to beauty, the Midwest All-Truck Nationals hauls into Riverside." In case you miss it in the story, he has over 660 images (all vehicles) from the show in his stand alone album. [get.google.com]

Now in THERE, some of those pictures should jog your memory. headscratch Many Stovebolt trucks but 660 ... way more than the Stovebolt gang.

I do like this quote:

When I go to this show, I like to meet up with the Stovebolt.com crew. This is the most die-hard, knowledgeable group of old truck enthusiasts anywhere.

That's you guys!!

thumbs_up
