Say, Guitplayer, if you still have the three panels, how do the mirrors in the others compare? I’m having trouble visualizing the sight line from the mirror viewing so low an angle as to only see the ground. Am I misunderstanding? In the picture the mirror looks pretty low already. Curious. C

I have 2 panels. One is not up and running. The other is a stepside. I can see out of it fine of course. The mirror is low but not low enough to see completely down the road. You understand correctly. I mounted the seats in the panel the same height as my stepside. The seats that were in it (old and ratty) were very low.

I have a '57 Suburban. I think that is the way it is, 2 small windows... There is no miracle, you end up using your outside mirrors more, because you really cannot rely on the view through the small back windows...
