I am wanting to check the site for information on the feasibility of fixing rust on a 57 Chevy pickup. the area in question is the interior of the cab above the visor. What is that area called? I don't even know what to put in the search tab. Thanks.

Wow! Your first post in 12 years!

It probably would be helpful to post a picture of the area of concern.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.

Got a 59 3100 in a couple days ago with same problem caused by mouse pee. Last one we done we had to hand form our own replacement panels but customer bought some with him so they are now available. IF, big IF, I remember I'll do a step by step pics.

Heat and humidity inside the cab during the day forms condensation on the underside of the roof skin at night as the night time temps cool the exterior sheet metal. This then drains to where gravity takes it, normally that header panel above the WS or down inside the doglegs of the A pillar (so check them too).
