Do you know how long it's been since it was operable?
Mine sat for 5 years. My '66 Mustang sat for 15 years. I was able to get both of them operable and mechanically souind in the last two years. I've put about 15,000 miles on the two of them combined so far.

The truck cost me about $6000 in parts - $2000 of which is wheels and tires.

I started with a new gas tank and worked my way up to the engine. Didn't have to do anything with the internal components. Hopefully your truck just needs the external stuff, too.
