Hello from New Zealand.
I have a 1938 Half ton Chev that's been in my family for nearly 50 years. I have been restoring it for a lot of years now and its almost done. It has the original 216 in it that's been rebuilt and the 4 speed crash box. Being from NZ it's right hand drive made in Canada and assembled here in NZ when new. This site has been a huge help with its restoration.

That's a cool looking truck. Was the two tone paint original to the truck? Was it a commercial vehicle in the old days?

Welcome to the site. That's a mighty good looking '38.

Glad you found Stovebolt to be helpful in your restoration. Thank you for that.

You might find this spot here, our International Zone, of interest to you. It is set up as:

"Discussion area for the Euro, Oz, So. African, So. American, Asian and other 'Bolters to discuss topics unique to their geographic setting."

You'll see there are some "neighbors" already in there. Wouldn't it be something if some of them were actually really close! shake

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
