Hello Big Bolts community,

my Firetruck is finally ready.
I passed the main inspection and got a vintage license plate. If you want to see pics of the truck:
www.bäms.com

I want to seal the transmission soon and change the oil filter at the same time.

The problem is that I have not found one yet.
Chevrolet C60, year of manufacture 1965/1966.

It is an Allison transmission, probably MT 41, exactly I do not know.
The nameplate has not helped me.
Maybe someone of you has an idea.
Enclosed are numbers from the nameplate (see attachment).

Under G.M. it says: 6778696
Under S/N it says: 6-613

As always, thanks in advance

Greetings Brian

Hallo Brian,

Dan

Hello you two,

thank you very much for your help.
I have found the filter and ordered.

It is always amazing how quickly and well you get help here.
Without this help, some implementation would not even be possible.
This is and remains the best forum.

Greetings Brian

Brian,

Dan

In English for those following along:

Brian,

Very glad the information is helpful! thumbs_up

I checked out your web site and saw the pictures of your truck. Very cool my friend!

On that thought, I checked and couldn't find where you might have posted in our Welcome Centre. Maybe you would post an introduction for yourself and your truck there?

Am quite sure many folks will enjoy seeing the pictures of your truck if you would post them as attachments there.

You may also want to post an introduction in The International Zone forum. Quite a few existing members in Germany that may be interested in hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Dan
