Last couple days, if I go to Stovebolt.com from a mobile device, there are no visible links to go anywhere but the front page. There’s a drop-down if you hover over the right spot, but the links are dead.

JW,

I just tried my very old cell phone. For some reason, in that screen, the "menu" is at the bottom (in my device anyway). It's under the pictures and under that thick bar. (See image from the PC ... can't get pix from my cell phone since I don't have that connection.) Those links work for me.

See what other folks have to say.

BTW ... that Home page needs to be changed out. It was made with a program that is no longer supported. Something on the to-do list. big_eek

The menu used to be at the bottom for me too. Wonder if my phone is trying to load the full web page?

JW,

If you are starting your access to Stovebolt (in your browser) from the "Home Page" (stovebolt.com) web address, there is a kind of application restriction to do with the screen width of a mobile device (phone).

When you view the page in a vertical view, the width restriction moves the links line from the top of the page (as you would see on a laptop or larger screen tablet) down to the bottom of the page. See screenshot 1 below of my phone scrolled down to display the menu links to click.

If you change the orientation of your phone to sideways view, the menu links line will then display at the top of the page. See screenshot 2 below of my phone.

All of this just to get to the main "forums" page so you can sign in.

FWIW, I work around this problem by just making the main forums page web address my saved "bookmark" to click and get me straight to the "Log In" page. Skip going to the "Home Page" altogether.

Save this link as your "book mark" and no more dealing with the "Home Page" display issues: https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/forum_summary.html

Hope this is helpful. If you are still having problems finding "dead links", let us know here please so we can investigate further.

I just tried my Android phone and the only thing I did not get was the greasy spoon unless I signed in.
