Thanks for posting that, Joker. I couldn't believe Ned drove that one ton all the way from the east coast to KC and kept going to see friends in CO. Heck of a nice guy, Beautiful truck too.

I really enjoyed visiting with Ned, and liked his truck.

Often I wonder where the truck is now, does anyone know?

Man, he was a great guy. I'm glad I had the chance to spend a few Homecomings with him...

On his around the country tour he stopped in at my house and he and his little kitten, lovey, stayed a few days. We had a great visit and got to show him around a bit. RIP Ned, gone but not forgotten.

Ned and I talked for a couple hours at the Reunion several years back.
Very intelligent guy that would talk on my low level.
His knowledge of Nuke power or any subject, really surprised me.

RIP Ned
Don

Had been working in the 2012 KC Reunion thread, and then Sweet (ODSS) was asking about The NED (a trophy made by the ODSS in forever memory of The Ned), I came across several photos that also need to be in here.

The Ned and The Golden Phamtom [s160.photobucket.com] at the KC Reunion 2012.

Same event: The Ned with follow Bolters [s160.photobucket.com] with their trophies from the show.

Sure do miss that guy.
