They sure are proud of their kit, but I really like the idea of the snap together parts to experiment with for exhaust routing.

Price: Ouch [trick-tools.com]

I got a buddy to 3d print a few pieces as an experiment to see how well it would work. It was surprisingly effective, and at $0.30 per piece for filament I might consider making a full set when I am ready for exhaust work.

Though I did see that Holley had started making equal length cast iron manifolds/shorty headers for a few engines. That concept appeals to me as well.

We use defroster duct with holes punched in it so spray foam can be squirted inside. Once foam sets the tubes are plenty rigid to use as patterns for a tube bender. Pic of header for a Studebaker Golden Hawk---not something one can buy off the shelf.

"Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!!
I believe I went directly to ICE Engine Works and just got the pieces I needed instead of a kit. Much cheaper that way. Worked extremely well.

I am much too cheap to actually buy the kit, but if you did a lot of custom/tight headers I could see it being worthwhile.

I'll have three or four projects coming up where I'm going to build my own stuff. That was enough for me to justify the purchase.

Lol. Maybe not so much. A coat hanger would do the same and cause the same problems. Been there, etc., etc.

Let's be honest, we have all seen sketchier things than Bartamos's links on the road...

One of the neatest exhaust systems I ever saw, the owner cut the pieces to fit, super-glued them together to verify fit, and then welded it all up when he knew it all worked together. You had to see the finished product to believe it.

Looks great Evan!
Not sure how good that will flow though, what, with the foam inside of it and all...

Just messing with you buddy. smile
That is actually a slick idea.
