I respect that hesitation. I thought about using original clips but the heads seemed too small for the stretchy cover I have. My firewall is half 1950 Chevy truck and half wheelbarrow so drilling it wasn’t sac religious.

The new repops firewall pad came is longer and steering column is in the right spot . Looks like it will fit nicely ,The number for the pad ct327 I was told will be the same they are correcting the cutout ,It is nice to see that they looked after the problem ,good company .
