Looking for input from anybody that has converted a 60 - 62 pick up with this set up?

I put something similar in a 67 C-10 with a stick shift. Worked out great.

I have recently purchased this for my 66. Have yet to install.

1966 C-10 Step Side. 283, 4spd, 3.73 gear. 60K miles prior to restoration. 507 Paint Code. Currently in 10,000 pieces, but it's starting to go back together.
Rear Suspension is done! Wheels are done! Bed bodywork is done! New 383 and TKO 5 speed in place.

The hydraulic clutch makes the 60 - 62 a bit more involved, thus more $$$.

Clearance between brake booster & intake manifold one question I've got.

Since the 60-62 uses a 2-chambered MC, one side for the brakes and the other for the clutch, it might be necessary to use a separate unit for the clutch. With a little tinkering, a clutch MC for a mid-1960's Dodge pickup might be able to be adapted for operating the clutch slave cylinder. My 65 D100 with a 318 V8 was set up that way.

It appears that the clutch MC is included in the photo shown. It also has a separate shaft for the clutch pedal.
So it may have everything needed for the conversion. It also appears to be a CPP set up. As far as I know the components are OK
but they are notorious for providing poor installation instructions.
Several other aftermarket sources provide these same conversions.

Ok- - - -it seems that they did a good job of hiding the second MC in their photo. Given the tiny diameter of the booster chamber, have you considered just investing in a gym membership? A few reps on a squat machine would male your leg stronger, which is all the booster does!

lLOL!

Thanks for the input Fred.
If I get one it will be from The Filling Station, I make it over to the wet side of the state every now & then.

I highly recommend stopping in & checking them out if you are traveling I 5 in Oregon.
