@ 46Sparky - Thank you for the information! Yes, the spare tire mount is definitely something that an owner added at some point. It's my understanding, since the bed has six boards (something I never even thought about checking on before) it's a 1940 bed or older. Now I just need to know the measurements for those six boards so I can do some patchwork, and replacing where needed.
