I saw this truck at a local car show this past weekend. I the owner was not around at the time to ask about the truck but it is local and I hope to catch up with him later. The '58 appears to be mostly stock, it did have the fuel tank moved to the rear, other than that it seemed stock. The hood wasn't open but from under I could see it was an in-line 6 with a 3 speed column shift.

Do you think that's "Polar Green" offered in 1958? Had to look twice but it looks very similar to "Galway Green" in 1959 (which I'm leaning toward using on my 59)

I have a '58 Apache 3100 that (I believe) was originally painted Glade Green (#705?). Its turqouise to my eye. I bought it in '89 and it was red then.
If I ever have it painted again might change it back.
