My Dad had a bunch of parts in his 1937 Ford that he had collected, and one of them was the visor in the pictures. Can anyone help me identify what is it that I have here? Some helpful person had posted all of the assembly manuals for Fulton Sun Shields in one of the forums, but I can't find anything stamped "Fulton" on the parts that I have. I have the hardware as shown in the photo, but nothing that would attach the visor to the vehicle. Can anyone tell me if this is a Fulton, what model it may be? I appreciate your help. Thank you.
I read somewhere that Dieterich made steel visors and Fulton made aluminum. There were a dozen companies making visors, so your guess is as good as mine.
Dieterich visors were steel. They produced this visor pictured in 1953 only for the AD trucks. I fully reconditioned this one and installed it on my '48 Chevy 1/2 ton truck.

Fonz8261, I had to look at your links. I like your truck and all the doo-dads. I have a similar visor that I think is Dieterich. The center bar has the embossed ridge, the two halves are connected with Three bolts, unlike the Four bolts on yours, and the ends have Three holes where yours shows Two. How do you know your visor is Dieterich? Where did you get the end brackets?
The end brackets for my visor were included with the visor when I bought it. I replaced the old nuts/bolts, washers, etc. I bought my visor after careful research on the 1953 Dieterich AD truck visor well in advance of tracking mine down, and thoroughly examining what was being offered and had multiple conversations with the seller. They are hard to find.
