This engine is out of my 39 chevy pu, but it could be any year I don't know what year. It was overhauled during a frame off restoration about 20 years ago, and apparently run for a short time and the truck was stored in a shed before I got it.
The engine is currently still intact in my garage, and I need the space so I am tying to give it away, someone must need it, if not it is going to the dump.
I am located in Maryland and cannot ship, pick up only. Hurry need the space for another project.

Where are you in Maryland?

Do you have a way to load it into a pickup truck?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.... I sold a '39 1/2-ton about 20 years ago that I did a frame-off resto and engine rebuild on ...

At anyrate, there are plenty of us here in Maryland who can take that engine off your hands and either give it a good home or help find it a good home.

You are making a very generous offer and we will honor that.

If you are close to any of us (St. Mary's, Charles/So PG, Baltimore or Howard Counties -- even Eastern Shore!), we can help!

Thanks,
John

The Stovebolt Community in SoMD is very small and tight knit ... inquiring minds want to know ... WHO?????

Oh well.... I guess we'll never know. OP is probably back offline for another three years ... wink

Still ... as none of the usual suspects haven't fessed up yet ... the thought that there might be another, as yet unknown, 'Bolter lurking amidst the swamps of SoMD is an intriguing one ...
