WOW. Very impressive. Running a stronger than stock frame???, 'cause THAT looks like it will make pretzels out of a factory one.
Hi Chip O, Good point! I planned on Boxing the frame and beefing up the crossmembers when I add boost. I’m running street tires with minimal traction currently but should I box it now with 450hp/465tq?

Not to answer a question in this forum, but I boxed portions of my stock frame installing a a C4 Vette full suspension conversion kit(front and rear). It will be running a modest 300+hp. I'm still adding extra support to the rear with the fuel tank relocation to behind the axle but still worry about twisting with some umph.
Considered moving this post to the HiPo Forum but since it is something done to your truck I’ll leave it here. Just a note though, we welcome discussions on modified trucks in the HiPo Forum.

Collected up the parts I have from planned 350 and LS swaps to my '57 1t panel and listed them online for sale. It is going back to I-6 power like it left the factory. I have a modern truck for doing modern things. My classic will be a classic.

So we are jumping the gun a bit. We drive our truck and are re-doing as we go. I got southern yellow pine in may to put the bed floor back together and remove the dirty old plywood that was in it. We bought all the metal needed and started with the take off sun 8/8.The wood has been done and the bed has been sanded and primed ( driver quality) next weekend we'll re-assemble the bed and install it. It'll be the best looking part of the truck. We'll make the local car show that week and see what people think. I'll try to post a few pics

Continued with the fuel tank relocation. Need to pick up some hardened tubing for the bolt placement, but getting closer. Can't wait to work on the filler just behind the fender on the outside of the bed.
