I've been using my '40 as daily for 24 years , it has carried everything and towed lots .......... smile

Mostly , during the last 6 years , it has carried the camper .

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Here you go. Stock 503, 5 speed, had 6.5 single speed diff, slow going, changed to 5.13 two speed, drove home from Alabama with leaking head gasket, Jerry repaired with silica gel, milled head .090”, new valves and guides, shortened frame 4’, added crane bed, pretty handy. Found PTO idler gear that fits inside trans, regular PTO box on top of that. All chrome redone by previous owner.

I have no reason to think it couldn't be real...a 3/4 ton truck should have no issues pulling that trailer as long as the brakes on the trailer work.
