Here in Canada ITs about $6.00 a US gallon , about $ 7.50 a imp. gallon .
Our plans to winter in Florida this winter got washed out so our alternate plans is to do the long awaited trip along route 66 .
Gas prices will go along way in determining how far we make it .

John, if you make it to Oklahoma you will find lots of Route 66 related stops to entertain yourselves. Route 66 runs right through my town and the Onion Fried Burgers are on me!

I have a friend that left today for Florida. He used to drive but after factoring in gas prices and lodging and airfare he thought it evened out. I watch his house when he is gone. He said there is room there for his wife and me. My brother just moved back from there 6 months ago because of the storms and heat, I could have told him that, he did stay there 7 years and moved back to Indiana about 30 miles from where he left.

Here in BC, gas in our area is $1.88/litre, which is $7.15CDN for a US gallon, which equals $5.37 USD per US gallon.

I will just say that here in central Indiana it bounces up and down like a kid trying learn to play basketball.

Regular unleaded dropped to $2.99 this morning. I was told that Ga has the lowest gas prices in the States.
