Here in Canada ITs about $6.00 a US gallon , about $ 7.50 a imp. gallon . Our plans to winter in Florida this winter got washed out so our alternate plans is to do the long awaited trip along route 66 . Gas prices will go along way in determining how far we make it .

I have a friend that left today for Florida. He used to drive but after factoring in gas prices and lodging and airfare he thought it evened out. I watch his house when he is gone. He said there is room there for his wife and me. My brother just moved back from there 6 months ago because of the storms and heat, I could have told him that, he did stay there 7 years and moved back to Indiana about 30 miles from where he left.

John Here in BC, gas in our area is $1.88/litre, which is $7.15CDN for a US gallon, which equals $5.37 USD per US gallon.

Regular unleaded dropped to $2.99 this morning. I was told that Ga has the lowest gas prices in the States.
