I believe that the correct spelling and pronunciation of the word is "hogwarsh" when used in the context of the aforementioned repair methodology.
Such methodology has been referred to as the Knauer Method = "The employment of swift and blinding violence."
Why, a friend called me earlier today to pick my brain on how to free a rusted-on rear brake drum.
He tried heat, Kroil, prybar, and a LFH to no avail. I suggested that he break out the BFH and increase the intensity of the blows on the outer edge of front of the drums, alternating from one side to the other until it teeter totters itself off of the hub of the axle.
He did it while on the phone, and bingo, off she came.
