Hello.

I am completing the rebuild of the bed for my 1942 3/4 ton long bed. Because the bed mounting was basically "not original", when I took it apart, I'm uncertain of the exact location for the center cross sill. If anyone has a diagram of the cross sill locations for the 1942 3/4 ton long bed, I sure could uee a copy of that image. Thanks for any advice you may offer.

Check Mar-K’s website. They have lots of diagrams available.

Dunfire, that PDF is for a 1/2 ton short bed. The 3/4 ton long bed will have different mounting points and cross sill positions. Sometimes it is hard to find the assembly instructions on the Mar-K website, but click on the "MENU" at the top of the site and scroll down to bed assembly instructions. Pick your year series for the instructions for your truck.
