Drove it to a couple shows that were at least 100 miles from the house and put about 500 miles on it those two weekends,on the first trip I had to get out and stretch due to the small cab before I got home but did not have to on the second trip. The 235 is getting a little more noisy but made it but need to change it this winter.

Congrats, Jeff!!

Isn't it a real kick to do roadtrips like that? a month ago, I drove the '49 about 70 miles to my 35th college class reunion. It was a great trip.

Congratulations on your road trip. Yours must run better than mine. I finally did get my 37 1/2 ton to a show this fall but only about twenty miles away. It got a lot of attention because I haven’t washed the barn dirt off of it. It leaked out most of the tranny fluid on the trip so I think that’s going to be a project for next summer. It’s about time to put it back on blocks for the winter
You guys will be hearing from me when I try to figure that all out

I'm headed out Sunday for 300 mile round trip to a Hotrod only drag race, I haven't been out for a three years or so. I rebuilt the carburetors, set timing, and replaced the plugs, it needed a tune up. It's been running pretty bad for a couple years so getting out on the road should clean up the exhaust, it still smells nasty setting in the garage.
