Beyond excited. I’ve never done one to this extent before. Looks like maybe around Thanksgiving before he finishes then I’ll have a few days work to put the chrome on.

Martin,
That is looking good and I know how excited you must be. Is that a factory color and if so what is it called? It looks similar to Mariner Blue that was used on my '50 COE.

Kent it is a factory GM color. 2022 Glacier Blue Metallic
We used a darker primer/sealer so the color turned out a little richer than it is on the new trucks.

Cab is back together. He’s back to the bed today also started stripping the tailgate. Last photos before finished product. It will be covered in plastic today to keep the dust off.

Looking good!
I've wet sanded/polished my truck twice, once when it was green and more recently the new red. That's very hard labor and there's no way I could do it in a day or two. More like a month.

Looking good! My '63 c-10 custom cab was black with the side stripe in white. Your pics sure make me wish I still had it! They are fun to get to this stage after the rot in the typical spots are fixed. Lol

Removed them. I pick up the powder coated grill and headlight bezels tomorrow morning.

Went to OKC this morning to pick up the grill and headlight bezels. Stopped by the body shop on the way back and the bed has 2 coats of color and waiting for clear coat. Rear fenders are getting their final polish. Tailgate is almost done. May be ready to bring home by Sunday, if not it will be Monday or Tuesday.
