Thanks for the add. I appreciate it. This is my recent acquisition. It's a 1951 GMC 451 with a 270. I'll definitely be taking advantage of the knowledge base here.

Thanks again

Welcome. See you are in the Heartland!

The Big Bolts that Rusty Rod talked about are in an area we call the Parking Lot. Think of the site as a "virtual garage." You'll find the Big Bolts in their own forum here.

The Heartland group can be found in the Side Lot area. It's a lot of people, and get togethers, general hanging out, that kind of stuff. So, we needed to annex the space next door. The Heartland Bolters have their spot staked out here. Fun folks. Just had a get together in Kansas City, as a matter of fact.

And then, the busiest spot around are the bays in the garage: The Shop Area. You just gotta virtually stroll over there so you can get your list started.

Welcome. The Stovebolt Collective is here to help.

Welcome to the ‘bolt! Looks like you have a decent start on your project, as it appears to be fairly complete. The Big Bolt forum is right up your alley. Good Luck and again, welcome!

Welcome SawMill! wave

Very neat looking "Big Bolt" you have there. thumbs_up

Others have already hit the nail on the head with great pointers toward topic forums for you to check out in our community.

As Peggy M noted, lots of folks in our "Heartland" region, with a bunch concentrated in the KC greater metro and surrounding areas (myself included).

Looking forward to seeing you in the forums, and again WELCOME!!! shake

Welcome to stovebolt, Phil. As mentioned, nice old workhorse right there. Don't put it out to pasture where it will rust away, it's meant to work. Ask here if you need help.
