Hello !
New to this site, but it looks amazing ! Lots of friendly folks, with tons of information.
I am doing a couple of things as I move into my 4th quarter of life.... One I have a 1954 (I think ? 6500 flat bed) Chevrolet Flatbed truck. Would like to get it back on the road.
Two, I'm looking around for a restored 1965 F100 Flare Side Bed Pickup (With spare mount on side) to have as a daily driver, that's in great shape. Mostly I ranch, take a lot of time to visit my grandkids, and fly my Cessna Stationair 206 to get around long distances. But, love old trucks that I was blessed enough to ride around in my youth !
Thanks for including me on this site, hope to make new friends, and help where I can as well.

Welcome to the Stovebolt madness. There is no cure! shake

Remember we talk about that other brand exclusively in the Greasy Spoon Forum. Yup, I’ve got one too.

Rancher,

Since we we already "welcomed" you and your truck in your General Truck post, you got all the details about what to post where. wink

This is a good spot to tell about yourself. If you are so inclined. thumbs_up

The Greasy Spoon is here, way down at the bottom of the Forums.

And the "other brand" justhorsenround is referring to is your Cessna Stationair 206. Can't have images there but you can link to an image.

We'll bounce you around enough that soon you will no longer be in "moderated" status.

Welcome Rancher3360 wave

When you get settled a little, don't forget to check out The Texas 'Bolters forum. A great place to meet and share info with others in your region!

Also, check out the "Big Bolt" specific forum as you can ask for help and share info on your '54 Flatbed.

Once again, Welcome!

Dan

Thanks so much for the kind words, and welcome !!
I am looking forward to getting into this project, and receiving some help... If you all know anyone in South Texas with experience with these Big Bolts, I'd sure like to go visit with them, and see if they could offer some help !
Thanks Again !
