I’m looking for the pickup bed assembly drawing for a 51 3800 (I don’t suppose it really matters if it’s a short be or long bed for how it goes together
Does anyone have the relevant pages of the manual they can post up?
It does matter between the sizes The one ton box front is different than the lighter trucks There is a re-enforcement rib in the center And all the bed bolts go through the bottom lip and capture all the metal strips unlike the 1/2 and 3/4 ton There are posts on this topic someplace and I recall putting some photos in it with the discussion about the differences. -s
