I’m putting my front brakes back together on my ‘52 6400 and the back shoe doesn’t line up with the wheel cylinder. Is there a measurement I can make to see if the backing plate or the inside plates are the issue?
Here is the brakes put back in. Thanks to Mongo for the locking clips! Only problem is the springs look different on each side. Does anyone know which is right, or does it matter? Are the springs for pickups the same for the Big boys? I can’t attach pictures because they are too big.
About 1/2 way down the guide, there are tips on how to "resize" a "too big" picture before you do the attachment. Once you manage this, we can let the pictures help "splain" thing better.
