Looking forward to being a part of this group and learning from you all. Got some peaches from my wife's uncle. Been sitting in this same spot for a long while. They are complete but just need some love. Plan to just get them cleaned up, running and driving for now. See where the bug takes me. One is a 41 Chevy Special Deluxe Town Sedan. Second is a 61 Apache C30 1 ton long box stepside and third is a 60 Impala 4 door flattop. I know the 41 is a 216. Guessing the others are 235 or maybe even 250? They are all pretty special to my wife as they were always in her family and she can remember playing in them as a child. I hope I can get one or more running so her Uncle can have one last drive in them.

Welcome to the Stovebolt madness. There is no cure!
To make sure you get off on the right foot and don’t step on any toes please remember this is a site dedicated to TRUCKS. Your cars are cool but they don’t qualify under the site’s guidelines. That being said feel free to discuss the engines of all 3 in the Engine Shop Forum, just don’t mention the cars when discussing them.
We’re glad your here and look forward to seeing some photos of the 1961 Apache. We have a special forum for 1 tons.

FYI: It's okay to discuss cars in the "Greasy Spoon" forum. Most anything goes there (no politics or religion) just keep it family friendly.
Where about are you located in Minnesota? I have a couple cousins in St. Paul and some good friends just north of Lake Mille Lacs. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your '61 Apache.
Welcome, you have joined the best vintage GM truck website on the net.
Welcome to Stovebolt. Consider yourself at home.....and for some car specific questions you may also try VCCA. See you around the garage. We are here to help.
Very cool, I love the spare tire mount and the wrap around windshield. It has the original hood as well. So many of those trucks had their hoods replaced with the newer style.
