I'm a rebuilder since I retired. Finished a 1956 Chevy 3100 stepside big window and am now working on my 1950 Chevy 3100 that I have owned since 1973. I like to restore to a close origional condition if I can with a few polished items included just to have a few beauty marks. Most of the time I know what I'm doing so I keep busy. There are times when I need an answer or two and maybe a photo. So this is why I am here with you. Thyanks for being available and the help. Hope I can contribute. Curt

Curtis,

Glad to have you here. I see you've already been busy with a few other posts, with photos I see. thumbs_up Good to see that. Those photos are very helpful when looking for answers to your questions. (Helps other people who may have the same problem, once they realize what it is. headscratch)

I think the site should be very helpful since you have a popular year and style truck.

Being retired, wink you may have some time to put your trucks in the Gallery Forum. You can post up to 25 photos there. Other Bolters can check it out and post comments.

If you like chronicling your re-build (with photos pix), it would be great to have you start a thread in the Project Journals forum.

Again ... glad you are here ... and we hope we can be of help.

Curt, welcome to the Stovebolt Garage!,
You are plenty close enough to join us at the Heartland Stovebolt Reunion in September.
Check out the Reunion threads and the Heartland threads for info on what’s going on!

Welcome Curt wave

Looking forward to seeing your posts in the forums and sharing knowledge and experiences. Great to see another "Bolter in the Heartland and hope to get a chance to meet if you can attend the get together Don spoke of in September.

Should you find yourself in need of a helping hand, feel free to reach out (send me a PM). I am not far (just south in Grandview, MO) and also being retired, might be of assistance if needed.

Glad to have you in the community! thumbs_up
