I did not mean to be rude and I will remove it now. Thank for for your response. I was not sure where it belonged.

Posting for sale links to someone else’s for sale ad is rude. Why?

Because it is the OP's for sale ad. Posting another truck for sale within the OP's ad gives the appearance of trying to steal a potential sale. Not a polite business practice. What if I went up there and hung a huge "Visit Kennebec County" sign on your "Welcome to Aroostook County" sign? Not that I would need to -- who *wouldn't* want to visit Kennebec County (home of .... ME! according to my DD214, anyway ...)

I see now John, I didn't notice that he was posting another truck for sale within the OP's ad. I would welcome a huge "Visit Kennebec County" sign on our "Welcome to Aroostook County" sign. I'd rather the tourist stay south. Years ago someone put a sign on a I95 overpass on the southern border.."Welcome to Maine, now go home" I live on a lake and you wouldn't believe some of the things I see, its as if the animals are released from a cage. Keeps the wardens and the state police gainfully employed.

I remember when they put that sign up! But growing up as I did (sort of ... long story ...) in Mid-Coastal Maine, *our* economy was based (pretty much) on tourist dollars -- We HAD to deal with them. I think the only tourists who get up your way are LOST! My very first truck driving job was summers working for a friend of mine's family business -- Pine State Beverage. My last summer there, I got the Locals route that included Booth Bay Harbor. Talk about tourists ... Man, oh man --- try driving a beer truck in Booth Bay Harbor in July, making deliveries and struggling to keep from choking the life out of tourists ... My grandchildrens' other grandfather is from the Ft Kent area. He still has a lot of family there. As I do also in Kennebec and Lincoln counties . We have a lot of good-natured ribbing that goes back and forth over potatoes versus ship building (both of my parents retired from Bath Iron Works) and lobsters.
