The shirts that have stayed decent have been the golf type ones. (There's a purple and a maroon in there.) One thing that helped the Bolt t live longer has been those t shirts that American Classic gave away all those years. They were thin so fairly cool. Didn't last too long but Pete gave away plenty of them.
Now that John is working for an excavator, man his clothes are bad. Tom Pryor sent John some of his company shirts and they are pretty ruggard.
Since ours have gotten stained really badly, that's why I shoot for cheap ones. When they are nicer, they look nice but don't last around here much.
I'll have to ask John to take a photo our the t-shirt quilt. It's a great way to save the logo at least. The quilts are from a variety of stuff, with different places we've lived and various things we engaged in. And girls' shirts in there, too. I'm working on quilts for the grand kids now. They have so much softball shirts.
Good thing about making quilts, the backside gets repurposed for rags.
Anyone remember the rag bag we gave to Dakota one year. And Cletis's wife, June, brought a Stovebolt t shirt quilt she made one year. These were the American Inn days.
