Celebrating 1947-1955 first series Chevy and GMC trucks. Finally a gathering of all trucks from this Era for a weekend of show and tell with your ride.
Don't forget pre entry ends September 1st.
If anyone knows how to post their flyer image in here, that would be neat.

Hmmm....I'd really like to go to this. The SETN was cool, but the AD trucks didn't get much love. It was really a C10 fest. (as mentioned previously, elsewhere)
We have gone in previous years. It's a good AD show that seems to be growing every year. The show is attached to a fairly large swap meet, which gives it another positive element of activity. We would love to go again this year, but the dates are falling on the same weekend as the Annual Stovebolt Reunion at Mongo's.....conflicted on which event to attend....
It is maybe 65 miles from me but through Indy. I try to indy a lot in my new car to see my son in Fishers but not a fun time. And then there are the roundabouts.
We B Old Thought if I went About 85 miles for me thru the woods would leave early in the morning. Use all 2 lane country roads. About 50 mph for top road speed. Maybe you could clear Indy by going at off hours of the day. 51 6400 pickup
WE B OLD My map shows an interstate route that I can't handle in a 50 mph truck, was over in that 2 lane country yesterday. Would be an all day drive to do it. Ordinarally I wouldn,t trailer anything but is a possibility,if other AD's will show. They say it's more of a c-10 meet.
I'm planning on going. I'll camp onsite. I talked with Brian the organizer over the weekend. Great guy. He's expecting around 100 AD trucks. Sounds like a great weekend.
I went to the AD Nationals in Franklin Indiana Sept 16-17. I got there Thursday late afternoon. Camped on the grounds. I went through the swap meet Friday morning and hung out with the AD guys as they started coming in for the weekend. I had to leave by 9 Saturday morning for a family commitment back home later in the day. Even though I missed most of the actual show Saturday it was still by far one of the best things I did all summer!!! The organizer Brian and all the guys (and gals) were great folks to hang out with. I'm already pre-registered for next year and looking forward to it.
Did a cruise to a cruise in car show about 20 miles away Friday afternoon. Was pretty cool to see 15 AD trucks in a row, and pulling onto the show at the same time.
On the way back from the cruise one of the guys had a minor breakdown. I was glad to see everyone stopped to help. We got it back to the fairgrounds and it was easily fixed.
Glad you were able to make it Mark, and thank you for an update with pictures. Hopefully next year's schedule is a little more open and Dad and I can make it down as well.
Great photos Mark! Glad you were able to go. I am hoping 2023 will be a better year and I can make the AD Nationals AND the Smokey Mountain Nationals! It would be great to hang out with a bunch of AD guys!
The 2023 AD truck show discussions are HERE. This thread is the 2022 show and I'm gonna lock it down so the chatter for the 2023 show doesn't end up here by accident. Don't want to cornfuse anyone.
