Papa Joe mentioned this in the Southerners' forum:

Advance Design Nationals, Sept 16-17 - Franklin IN

Info on Facebook [facebook.com]

Celebrating 1947-1955 first series Chevy and GMC trucks. Finally a gathering of all trucks from this Era for a weekend of show and tell with your ride.

Don't forget pre entry ends September 1st.

If anyone knows how to post their flyer image in here, that would be neat.

I got excited too quickly, I mistook Franklin for Frankton which is much closer to me. But Still close.

Hmmm....I'd really like to go to this. The SETN was cool, but the AD trucks didn't get much love. It was really a C10 fest. (as mentioned previously, elsewhere)

Anyone else thinking about going?

We have gone in previous years. It's a good AD show that seems to be growing every year. The show is attached to a fairly large swap meet, which gives it another positive element of activity.
We would love to go again this year, but the dates are falling on the same weekend as the Annual Stovebolt Reunion at Mongo's.....conflicted on which event to attend....
