Free to a good home. Complete including water pump, intake, exhaust, carb & fuel pump.
235 appears to be a 1958-1960; Casting # 3738307 (there is a "2" stamped in the front of that & an "I" stamped after - actual casted # though is 3738307); it has hydraulic lifters & the "848" head. Needs a rebuild she was knocking pretty good when I pulled it but should still be a serviceable core. Head appears to be in good shape and has been possibly rebuilt recently in its mileage history. I had it off previously and guides were tight, valves looked decent.
The crash box is one of the early (early 40s) transmssions, it did shift well but to be clear this is NOT an SM420 it is one of the straight cut/non-synchro transmissions. I can grab the casting number if need be.
Located in the Terrace area, for anyone wanting these and driving through... just in my way at this point.
