I read John's post and just as I was finishing, some pollen blew off of the old Loblolly right in my eyes and made them water up. Huh. Hambone, you definitely have come a long way in a relatively short period of time. Two time truck restorer, 3 truck owner (and 60-66 aficionado!), a blacksmith, a timber framer, an ODSS stalwart, but most of all, a great friend to all. I know we will see you again but there is some sadness knowing there isn't any more 60-66 iron left of yours left in Saint Mary's County. Take care Brother Bone, hope to see you again soon. Billy

Great weekend. With all the crazy BS in the world today, its good to distance yourself to a little slice of heaven far from trouble. Spend it with old trucks, great pals, and Freyja. Thank you to the Roache family for opening your home to "a bunch of guys on the internet".
While the weekend was an overall success, my personal challenge to find Buddy's electrical short was not completed. I'll keep chipping away until its found!
Hambone, I am sure we will see you and your ugly trucks again very soon.
I will post my pics when I can. High School playoffs keeps us busy!
Great to see everyone and I hope we gather again soon. Sorry. didn't know you were looking for a short. Thought you were wanting to replace air cannisters and work on bed. I've got a probe that I could have brought over and help you find it in about 10-15 min. C'est la Vie.

Mike, "Flattery will get you everywhere!" It was a great weekend, and I even managed to stay over a couple of days extra for a special project that John and I have had in the works since before the Covid bug just about gave me a permanent vacation. That 235 spray oiler from the rust bucket truck will help one of our new forum members keep a family heirloom truck working for a living, if I can make arrangements for it to head several hundred miles west of where it is now- - - -siutting on my trailer in my front yard! I rolled in a couple of hours ago, after a 700-something mile trip home. It was a real treat to hang out with the ODSS crew again! Jerry
