The old Bulletin Board has been removed from the server. And with recent "spring" cleaning, we are removing links back to it. The BB is still out in cyber space (to some extent) thanks to The Wayback Machine.

I'll bet that the screen display has been changed from something other than "ubbthreads stock". Roll down to the very bottom of the page and check there. Here's a screenshot of where to change it. There are a ton of options, not all good.

The color is not the issue. I have it set to dark intentionally.
The issue is that sometimes it comes up with the "active threads" page and sometimes it comes up with the forum list with no apparent rhyme or reason. I have hit reload and have it change.

Every time I sign on to the forum for the past week or so the"active threads" page comes up first, which is extremely annoying. Fot almost 20 years, the first page to appear has been "forums". Somebody must have been tinkering with the software. Why not leave well enough alone? Jerry

I haven't seen this problem. If you want, you could try setting the forum up like I have it.
In my preferences, I chose "follow lists" for "default starting view" and "followed forums" for "default tab". I then edited the list of forums that I follow removing the ticks next to the ones that don't interest me.
I don't know much about the UBB part of the forums. Paul S would be the "go to" guy for that.
My routine is to check the forums I had recently posted on, then the ones I moderate and then, if time, the "active threads" just to see where people are "gathering."
I'll email this to Paul.

Before you logout, click on "Forums" at either of the top menus.
When you next load/go-to/log-on-to the stoverbolt.com URL/address it will start on the page you last viewed, Stovebolt.com showing the headers with "Forums" to the right of the "Portal" - the Stovebolt-com Home Page.
What web browser are you using? They might behave differently. I use Apple Safari and duckduckgo Chrome.
