I thought I posted this but it may not have gone through. I have a 230 engine mounted in a frame with a new aluminum radiator for a 50's Chevy truck. It runs good I was going to attach a WWII era GM generator to it. Health problems have put a stop to my tinkering. Is this an engine that could be used in any older Chevy truck? I'm also going to list some items to sell and I would like the payments to go to Stovebolt. I will contact John M. when I'm able to get a list up. Thanks, Doc

Doc, your previous post was moved to the Swap Meet Forum, Parts for Sale. Posting anywhere else is a violation of Stovebolt rules. I will leave this here long enough for you to view it and then it will be deleted.

Good to hear from you, Doc. We've been worried about you. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Some people have put the 230 in their trucks. Not a common install, but still doable. As Martin says, the Swap Meet is the better place for listing it. Hooking it to a gennie would be cool. But I'm sure someone would be interested in it. Regards, John

Thanks Martin and John, I will hopefully get my list of Items for sale put together. I want some of the sales to go to Stovebolt. You folks have been very helpful to me. Keep me in your prayers if that is ok to ask. I may have to sell my old friend of 44 years my restored 54 3100.
