Dailymotion is a French site owned by Vivendi and backed by Bloomberg, Hearst Media and others. Sort of like YouTube but different. While much is in French and Italian, there's a lot in English too. Here is one poster's "channel" which has over 500 videos, many of them movies and some I think you'll recognize. The guy seems to like Sophia Loren a lot, but there are plenty of other good movies you can watch. Click on "All Videos" to see everything he has posted...maybe choose "most watched." If you're looking for a movie to watch and you either have a laptop or a smart tv (one that can access the internet), you might find this site interesting. https://www.dailymotion.com/MaurizioCuceChannel/videos

A few may have subtitles, but most don't. You have to understand when American movies are released in other countries...Italy for example...subtitles are common.

Thanks for the link Jon. We watched several sub-titled Itilian moves a couple years ago before a trip to Itilia to get a "little" comfortable with the language. The site would definitely have helped.
I've grown accustomed to subtitles, actually activate cc (closed caption) when watching movies at home. I find it helps a lot, particularly when the actors are speaking in low or hushed tones.

The ones that are especially annoying are the English movies with English subtitles. Very distracting.

Italian is close enough to Spanish I'm usually ok with it (especially written Italian). Romanian and Portuguese also, but sometimes Romanian can be shouted more than spoken...which makes it much harder to understand. I've found subtitles on some Scottish and Irish programs are helpful...also some programs out of New Zealand. They're speaking English, but the Maori accent is so different there are some words I don't immediately catch. Speaking of New Zealand, there's some pretty decent music down there. Especially Tami Neilson (who is actually Canadian but now in NZ). Ah ... Current/former members of the British Empire --- peoples divided by a common language... Wife and I watch an occasional British produced show on TV and frequently look at each other and say "what did she say". For a good (bad) example of that watch Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime and watch for Gerald. The last episode of season 1 with Gerald driving a combine is freaking hilarious.

Peggy and I like our BBC Brit cop shows (Morse, Lewis, Endeavour, Poirot, etc) we are always rewinding to catch a bit of vernacular.
Love Morse's MkII Jag ...
