Does the arrow on a residual pressure valve point towards the wheel or master cylinder? No instructions came with it.
When the foot is off the brake pedal, is the 10 lb pressure being maintained in the valve-wheel cylinder line or the valve-MC line?

There's an arrow stamped on the valve. Which was does it point?

Arrow is the flow direction, so toward the wheel cylinder.
