We are still asking: What did you get done on your Bolt today ????
The question, initially posted May 23, 2005, was:

1942 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. It has been a project I have decided to let go. First few photos are of when I recieved it. Montana truck with very clean metal. The only rust is a small piece on the passenger side cab where the finder hides the cab. I'd say it about 4in by 4in give or take. Otherwise the doors, running boards, front fenders, and bed sides are REAL SOLID. The rear fenders are in rough shape, but somewhat solid. Truck is in pieces now but I do have everything that was taken off plus extras including a second grill, a gastank, other parts. We are working on getting the front axle on again in the next day or two so that it can be a rolling chassis. I have a running 216 from a '53 that could be added to the price, say $500 or so. Ask questions, I'd love to answer and show the truck to anyone interestred. Local Pickup Only on Long Island, NY. Asksing $2,800 but I am certainly open to offers. Truck has been housed in a garage since my purchase of it. A neat piece of history on this truck, according to the tag on the fire wall the truck was built in January of 1942 (right before production shut down due to the war). Thanks for looking!
