Yeah, I think this is the big one. Karen does not want to hear it. I agree.

I spent 11 years in MT adn ID. I enjoyed it very much, but when I began looking around for a place to be my home for a family, I returned to NH. Can't beat it in so many ways. Especially when it comes to the taxes. When I moved back, due to salary and taxes I made 15K more. This is was in 2001 and I thought I had hit the lottery.

Well look at it this way, Tom -- you may be losing a son. BUT ... you've gained a Hambone!

I just made an appointment with the NH Get Along With the Other Residents Assistance Program (GAWORAP). They already knew about Hambone and referred me to a specialist. A few "good luck with this call" comments were heard in the background. I guess I qualified for an expidited admittance program and a white van is on its way.

(Please excuse my sense of humor...I look forward to the day Hambone and I can meet in person - it will be an honor)

Jim, I moved from York county Pa. in 1956 against my will, I was 13 at the time. I was born just south of there in Harford County Maryland. I still love the area. Rolling hills suit me not flat Indiana.

Harrumph. Tom, I need to share my experiences upon my 1st son's graduation. And soon to be my 2nd's next week from UNH. Have to be proud of a younger person who is wise enough to find their own way. As for the losses and gains, I will leave that to the NH group's meetings. The Odss officially canned my status last night around the fire.
