Has anyone here had this or heard about it? https://tinyurl.com/3yr7yvsk

A friend in the UK said he had it done...took a couple of hours in-office and that the improvement was very impressive. Just wondering.

Interesting. I take Finasteride for BPH symptoms and it works great.

I certainly hope they knock you out for the procedure. I'd sure hate to be awake while they're playing roto rooter.

Thanks Nick,
Tiny, I'm pretty sure they'd have to knock me out or at least somehow anesthetize me. Bottle of Southern Comfort? No...I'd probably vomit.

I've seen their ads on TV, but beyond that I don't know anything about it. There's a fairly long disclaimer at the end and some fine print that you can't read. That usually is a red flag for me.

Had it done twice. Grand total 10 pins installed, 6 the first time and 4 the second. Both times the results were great for about 3-4 months. Then back to the same old symptoms. Disappointing for me, but I have heard that others have had great longer term success.

My urologist is suggesting a "Turp" procedure. So far I'm unconvinced. Tamsulosin twice a day is helping.

I take 2 pills once a day and 1 of those twice a day. Tansolucin and finasteride and if they do any good I would have to stop them all. I ask my urologist a year ago and he said his associate is "experimenting with the Urolyft, I did not like the word experimenting. I am getting by without surgery but maybe later.

I take half a tamsulosin capsule a day (I pour half into new capsules when I get them to reduce dosage) and I drink hibiscus tea all year long...probably drink too much if some opinions are worth following, but living near Mexico as a boy I grew up with the stuff. Problem for me is I've shunned medicine my entire life and that's the only thing I take. I'd greatly prefer not to take a single pill, so have been considering the urolift thing. I'm giving my friend in the UK a year / year and a half to see how it goes for him. Thanks for the feedback!
