Fredericksburg Swap Meet is July 29-31, 2022. Ive been going the last 12 years or so and it’s usually a pretty good swap meet. Lots of vendors and there’s a big car coral too with lots of cars & trucks for sale. The only complaint is that it’s soooo dang hot!! Dress appropriately with long sleeves, a good wide brimmed hat, and don’t forget to wear sunscreen. Food on site for lunch or you can pack your own sack lunch and drink. This was the very first swap meet I ever attended, but I went on Sunday, which I learned was the worst day to go. Lots of vendors had already packed up and gone home. Saturday is the best day to go. Hope to see you there.

My wife is starting a new job and I think her vacation will be reset to two weeks, while I have just passed a job anniversary that awarded me an additional week I'm not used to having... So I may have to burn a Friday and head out there.
Eric, congratulations on the job milestone and the extra weeks vacation, I got the same thing for my 20 year anniversary on April 1. Hope to see you in Fredericksburg.

Don't forget the swap meet this weekend. I'm planning to be there early Saturday when it'll only be really warm, not hot yet. I'm about 6 miles west of the park.

Don't think I'm gonna make it. Have a months-long project for a somewhat pushy client that I need to get finished ASAP, so decided not to take today off. Thinking we're otherwise busy the rest of the weekend.
A friend in Houston had me watching for a set of restored 1950 Tx truck license plates. I checked 5 vendors before finding a pair, but the ones I found were very nice. I snapped a couple of pictures and texted them to him along with the price (which I thought was absurd). Got the buyer and seller together on the phone for what I thought would be some dickering, but the buyer just said do it.
Only thing I was looking for was a 302 exhaust manifold. Didn't find one.
