Welcome Claus, yes there are others here from Germany. I met one of them several years ago on my way from Bayern to Holland. I even presented him with an official Stovebolt flag. You have a Canadian GMC, that's why it has a Chevy engine.

Willkommen Claus,
I checked the list and there has been approximately 50 who have visited this website from your country. You are currently in moderation so please post several times with questions. Later you will be able to send private messages to members. When you post a question please identify your truck (1949 GMC 9300). One member from Kaiserslautern has asked many questions.

Willkommen Claus, Ihr LKW is eine Schonheit. My family came from the Holstein-Schleswig area so you will have to translate my very poor High German into your very acceptable Low German.

Hallo, Schleswig Holstein is exactly the other side from Germany. I stay at the south from Germany. Bavaria, 100 miles far from Munic near the Austria Border. You stay one time in Germany? I d like to travel to the United States but my wife nows if we travel, every junk yard will be mine..... Second reason: if i m in USA i will buy an Oldtimer but money money..... So i have to wait...
