After reviewing a video on installing the front pillars, I think I have broken off more than I can chew. Without any foreseeable help. I believe it to be undoable for me. All that work...
I am located pretty close to you (I believe). I am not an expert by any means but I can lend a hand if that would help you move forward on your project.
Hey, I am in central Wis. I drove around today with one of the doors trying to find someone to help. I think I would do well not replacing the whole pillar. I think I am good from just below the where that outer skin patch goes. Here is how it sits today. I would appreciate any help. I bought a new digital tig welder. But need guidance on how to use. I fitted the upper skin today. Floor is level and panels match up.
Every last one of us who have worked on one of these rust buckets have been in your shoes at one point. Time to drink a beer, sit in a comfortable chair and take some deep breaths and let them out slowly. You are eating an elephant. You have to go at it one bite at a time. Talking to others does help, but its up to you to take it slow until you get better at. And you will.
